The Bad Faith Insurance Litigation Group is dedicated to assisting members in prosecuting claims for wrongful denial of benefits by the insurance industry through the exchange of information and ideas. The Group conducts educational programs through the auspices of AAJ. The Group has a list server through AAJ to post queries and distribute information. The Group is accumulating a library of documents through the AAJ Exchange including depositions of industry personnel and insurance experts, corporate documents, and discovery orders.

- Meetings: AAJ Winter and Annual conventions.
- Membership: Membership is open to AAJ members involved in the representation of victims of insurance contract claims. Attorneys representing insurance companies are not eligible for membership.
- Dues: $100 per attorney
