Cannabis Injury Litigation Group

As states liberalize marijuana laws, the cannabis industry has expanded rapidly in a race to dominate market-share before the implementation of meaningful regulations. The industry is selling potent cannabis products, with THC levels ranging up to 100%, while also marketing these dangerous products with bright packaging, flavors, and names intended to be attractive to young adults. With the increase in potency and youth-oriented marketing, there is a new epidemic of cannabis related injuries including cannabis-induced psychosis, a severe and potentially devastating lifelong injury.

As this area of law is developing rapidly, the Cannabis Injury Litigation Group brings together attorneys who are litigating or interested in learning more about litigating against cannabis manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and related parties for injuries arising out of defective and youth-oriented cannabis products. The Litigation Group shares materials and updates on the developments, proceedings and laws across the country, including scientific research, court orders, and non-privileged publicly available resources, as well as sharing best practices to aid the coordination of attorneys bringing claims against cannabis-industry defendants.
