Drowning Litigation Group
Every year in the United States there are an estimated 4,000 fatal unintentional drownings, many of which are preventable with proper barriers. The Drowning Litigation Group raises awareness of this nationwide issue; educates attorneys to successfully litigate drowning cases; shares strategies, information, and best practices; and helps advocate for new laws throughout the country to prevent future drownings.
Group History
The Drowning Litigation Group was formed at the 2022 AAJ Fall Board of Governors meeting. Members have access to a Document library and list server. The Group meets at AAJ Annual and Winter conventions and plans to host programs and meetings throughout the year.
Dues: The Litigation Group is complementary to members of the AAJ Premises Liability Section who can agree to the terms and conditions of membership in the Litigation Group's Affidavit. If you are not yet a member, you can join the Premises Liability Section here.
