Exposure to the chemicals in hair relaxer products is linked to uterine cancer and other serious problems. The Hair Relaxer Litigation Group assists AAJ members to understand the various products and manufacturers involved in the litigation, assess and screen cases, and navigate state and federal court litigation strategies.
Group History
The Hair Relaxer Litigation Group was formed at the 2023 Winter Convention. Members have access to a Document Library and list server. The Group meets at AAJ Annual and Winter conventions and plans to host programs and meetings throughout the year.
Dues: The Litigation Group is complementary to members of the AAJ Environmental and Toxic Torts Section who can agree to the terms and conditions of membership in the Litigation Group's Affidavit. If you are not yet a member, you can join the Environmental and Toxic Torts Section here.
