Patron falls at restaurant

Rosa Salguero was at a Chili’s restaurant in California when a chair allegedly fell on her, causing her to fall and injure her right knee. She later underwent surgery on the knee.

Salguero sued Brinker Restaurant Corp., alleging negligence.

The jury awarded $112,000 for the plaintiff’s noneconomic loss.
